I have an externally held domain -How do I host the domain on my VPS?
We offer two methods of hosting an externally purchased domain from your VPS.

Firstly though, you should create the hosting for the domain in Plesk.

The domain, while hosted on your VPS, will remain held where it is currently registered (for renewal purposes).

You can then either change the 'A' record and 'MX' records for your domain from where it is held to point to your VPS's I.P. address...this method is the 'free' method,

OR

if you would like SupaNames to handle the DNS and Mapping of the external domain to your VPS you can make a 'mapping' payment here:

http://support.supanames.co.uk/payments/payment.htm

and then, please get back to us with the Netbanx Number of the payment and domain name to be mapped in order for us to set that mapping up for you.

All you then need to do is change the Nameservers where the domain is held, to:

ns1.dns21.co.uk
ns2.dns21.co.uk

to allow the hosting to function.
