I have received a renewal reminder directly from Nominet to renew my 'UK' domain. Should I do so?
I have received a renewal reminder directly from Nominet to renew my 'UK' domain. Should I do so?

In most circumstances the answer is 'no'.

As a SupaNames customer, you should only renew your 'uk' domain directly with us using the renewal link as found in your SupaNames renewal reminder e-mail.

Nominet send a reminder e-mail to all registrants of 'uk' domains to make them aware that the domain in question is expiring. The e-mail does however state that you  should renew your domain with your registrar which is SupaNames rather than with Nominet, however they do give you the option of renewing your domain directly with them.

Please make no payment directly to Nominet. If you have an active and up-to-date hosting package with SupaNames we will renew your Nominet UK domain that belongs to that package at no further cost.
