If your experiencing connection problems with your VPS server please check the QoS Alerts in Virtuozzo. When your server is entering into a 'Black Zone' and this is stating the reason is numtcpsock, then your VPS is using too many connections.

All our VPS servers allow up to 500 concurrent connections at one time, except the VPS Value which only offers 166. We would recommend that you upgrade from the VPS Value, if you are on this package and experiencing this problem.

Alternatively it maybe best to investigate your server and find out whats using all your connections, ie this could be Search engine bots such as GoogleBot or YahooBot.
