We restrict the 'receive' size limit of large Email attachments to around 10 MB on the Linux Value and Value Pro , 15MB on the Windows Start and Linux Mid packages and finally on our Linux Premier and Windows Venture packages this is raised to 20 MB.
Why? Well, in order to offer 'no bandwidth restrictions' or 'unlimited' bandwidth on some of our packages, we prevent features being used to such an extent where they cause bandwidth issues on our server loads and for our customers. Such a restriction has been placed on Email attachments for these reasons. Large email attachments are known to cause bandwidth problems on our servers, and over the Email network as a whole.
Also, Email was never really designed for this usage, and it is generally considered 'bad practice' to send large files using the medium of Email.
There are other recommended ways of sending such large files though, such as using FTP access through an FTP server, using an 'upload' script on your website,or a new method, which can currently offer the transfer of 100 Mb size - 'You Send It', from www.yousendit.com, all without using an email attachment.
As previously mentioned though, our Premier Hosting and Windows Venture Email attachment receive limit is raised to 20 MB, and if you would like to upgrade to allow such large Emails with attachments to be received, please follow the links below:

SupaNames cannot raise the limit on other hosting packages, such as Linux Value, Linux Value Pro, Linux Mid or Windows Start packages.
The 'sending' attachment limit is capped by your ISPs SMTP server.
