Accessing your Mailboxes using Mozilla Thunderbird

1) Open Thunderbird from your desktop or programs menu.

2) Go to 'Tools' in the menu bar at the top.

3) Choose 'Account Settings' in the drop down menu.

4) Click the 'Add Account' button.

5) Choose the 'Email Account' radio button. Click 'Next'.

6) Enter your name in the 'Your Name' field as you wish to appear in your email and also your POP3 or IMAP Email address that you have created in MyPanel. Click 'Next'.

7) Choose either POP or IMAP depending on the mailbox type you have created in MyPanel and enter your Incoming Server address as either:

  a) mail. yourdomainname (POP3 mailbox)
  b) imap.yourdomainname (IMAP mailbox)

changing 'yourdomainname' in the example above to your actual domain name and click 'Next'

8) Enter your Incoming Username as your POP3 mailbox username/email address you have created in MyPanel i.e. postmaster@yourdomainname

9) Enter your Outgoing Username as your POP3 mailbox username/email address you have created in MyPanel i.e. postmaster@yourdomainname Click 'Next

10) Enter a name to call your account and click 'Next'

1) Click Finish.
